TRAINING SERVICE ON CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION, PUBLIC PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES, AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Client: YOTEK CONSTRUCTION PLC.

We have contracted with YOTEK CONSTRUCTION PLC for Regular Staff Development through training since July 2009. The following trainings are conducted so far:-

  • Training on topics of contract administration, public procurement procedures, and project management for 24 engineers of YOTEK CONSTRUCTION PLC at AXUM HOTEL for two days. The trainees were composed of project managers, construction engineers, site engineers, contract engineers, cost estimators, and office engineers.

The training modules delivered in the two days session are:-

  • CONTRACTUAL PROCEDURE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES/CONTRACTOR'S PERSPECTIVE
  • MANAGEMENT OF SITE AND TYPES OF MEETING IN CONSTRUCTION
  • RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR FOR QUALITY INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF WORKS
  • CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION UNDER GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT, PUBLISHED BY PPA (2006).
  • AWARENESS ON STANDARD BIDDING DOCUMENTS AND ON FEDERAL, PUBLIC PROCUREMENT DIRECTIVE.
